Challenges we faced with the existing system of our client

Our client, Eyewear, is a leading manufacturer and supplier of contact lenses and other related products in the industry. They not only deal with small-scale orders but also fulfill humongous bulk orders placed by other businesses across multiple sectors. However, they were struggling to deal with the complexities of the supply chain and handle bulk orders simultaneously. When we analyzed their system, we concluded the main reason for the pain points was the manual process structure. Whether it was uploading the order details to the central repository system or confirming bulk orders based on inventory levels, all the processes had to be done manually.

Additionally, the existing system lacked any credit feature for the traders, which created a huge negative impact on the loyalty factor between our client and their customers. We also detected that the trader accounting system had to be handled manually where operators needed to enter trade records and purchase details into the system by hand. Due to the lack of automation and comprehensiveness, it caused delays in order confirmation and delivery. Apart from this, our client also struggled with fulfilling the orders on time and synchronizing data between the involved systems accurately, owing to which professionals had to tally all the records manually and correct the mistakes.

Our client wanted a centralized dashboard for better reporting and analytical abilities of their system. Owing to this, we proposed the integration of a third-party ERP system that could automate multiple business processes at once and streamline the core operations through advanced and custom modules. Additionally, we also integrated a checkout process that allowed order dispatch and checkout based on the store or customer address specified in the order detail.

Dual Payment Methods for Traders and Commission Agents

Our professionals developed two different payment methods for the users our client deals with. Trader users can use the credit points while commission agents can leverage their wallets to place any purchase order with our client’s integrated core system.

Comprehensive Transaction Management for Accounting and Reporting

The transactions that were loaded onto the central ERP’s repository have all the necessary details needed for accounting and reporting purposes. These details were categorized based on multiple attributes, including credits given to the trader users, payments made against any order or invoice, purchase orders from both commission agents and trader users, and credit memos according to different customers.
